Juan Andrés Heredia Maya was born on January 6, 1972, in the very heart of Granada’s gypsy quarter, Sacromonte. With a strong artistic background in his family, he began dancing at the age of 3 in La Cueva de la Rocío, owned by his parents, where he soon became the main attraction for the many visitors to the Granada venue.
