Juan Andrés Heredia Maya was born on January 6, 1972, in the very heart of Granada’s gypsy quarter, Sacromonte. With a strong artistic background in his family, he began dancing at the age of three in La Cueva de la Rocío, owned by his parents, where he soon became the main attraction for the many visitors to the Granada venue.
