ROBER EL MORENO
Rober El Moreno, strength and personality in flamenco dance
Rober El Moreno is a flamenco dancer from Madrid whose career is marked by a constant search for a language of his own, without losing the connection to tradition. He began his artistic training at just six years old at the renowned Amor de Dios academy in Madrid, where he took his first steps with maestros such as Antonio Reyes and Cristóbal Reyes.
Throughout his career he has continued to refine his dance alongside figures such as Alfonso Losa, Toni El Pelao, Farruquito and Nino de los Reyes. That training is reflected in a way of dancing where strength, musicality, elegance and improvisation coexist.
A career built on the stage
Rober El Moreno has developed his career in numerous theaters and tablaos in Spain and abroad. He has performed on stages such as the Teatro Cervantes in Málaga, the Teatro Principal in Burgos and the Teatro Nescafé de las Artes in Santiago de Chile, as well as historic tablaos such as Casa Patas, Los Gallos and Cardamomo.
His artistic development has also been recognized with various awards. In 2017 he won the First Prize at the Concurso Tablao Villa Rosa de Madrid and in 2024 he won both the First Prize of the Peña Flamenca de la Ribera and the First Prize of the 1st International Flamenco Dance Competition por Jaleos Extremeños.
