On 21 October 2026, at 9:00 pm, La Carmela will bring its essence to the Teatro Calderón in Madrid to celebrate its fifth anniversary with the biggest show ever organised by the tablao.
An exceptional event headlined by José Mercé, bringing together on the same stage Juan Andrés Maya, Antonio Rey, Antonio Canales, El Farru, Juana Amaya, Gema Moneo, Iván Vargas, El Yiyo, Alba Heredia, Nazaret Reyes, Mara Rey and Montse Cortés.
Under the artistic direction of Juan Andrés Maya, great masters and new generations will come together in a celebration of singing, guitar and dance: flamenco in its purest form, without artifice, where roots, freedom and emotion take centre stage.
A night to celebrate authenticity
For five years, Tablao Flamenco La Carmela has kept alive a style of flamenco that is intimate, authentic and full of strength in the heart of Madrid.
Now, for the first time, that essence leaves the tablao and takes to the stage of the Teatro Calderón for a night conceived as a tribute to flamenco and to all the artists who keep its legacy alive.
The show will bring together some of the leading figures in contemporary flamenco: José Mercé, Juan Andrés Maya, Antonio Rey, Antonio Canales, El Farru, Juana Amaya, Gema Moneo, Iván Vargas, El Yiyo, Alba Heredia, Nazaret Reyes, Mara Rey and Montse Cortés.
With Juan Andrés Maya as artistic director, singing, guitar and dance will come together through the freedom and improvisation that define flamenco at its most authentic. On stage, the experience of great masters will meet the energy of new generations in a unique encounter between tradition and the present.
It will not be just an anniversary. It will be a celebration of five years of flamenco, artists, shared nights and emotion.

The 5th Anniversary of Tablao Flamenco La Carmela will take place on Wednesday, 21 October 2026 at 9:00 pm at the Teatro Calderón in Madrid.
A one-off performance lasting approximately 2 hours, featuring an exceptional line-up headlined by José Mercé, under the artistic direction of Juan Andrés Maya, and joined by Antonio Rey, Antonio Canales, El Farru, Juana Amaya, Gema Moneo, Iván Vargas, El Yiyo, Alba Heredia, Nazaret Reyes, Mara Rey and Montse Cortés.
